Fees

There are three terms in the school year, Autumn, Spring and Summer, and fees are charged by the term, not the class.

For new pupils who start after the beginning of a term, the first term’s fees are reduced according to the number of classes they have missed; subsequent terms the full term’s fees are due, even if classes are missed.

Unlike most dance schools, we do not insist on a term’s, or even half a term’s, notice, but we hope to be told immediately if, for any reason, a child will no longer be coming. Also, we ask to be told by the end of one term if a child will not be returning at the beginning of the next. If this notice is not given, then a place will be kept open and the term’s fees will be due.

Arrangements can be made for fees to be paid by standing order, if required. To help you over an exam term, the various payments due over the course of that term are split as follows:

Term fees - payable at the beginning of term.

Exam Fees - due 6 weeks before the exam (they must be sent to the ISTD at that time)

Exam Coaching Fees & exam expenses (hall hire, cd operator etc.) – due by the end of term.

We hope all this seems reasonable. As it is, the fees are extremely competitive - from £6.00 per hour for the junior grades - and we would like to keep them that way, while maintaining the highest possible standards.
