The Sylvie Essame School of Dance which is based in and around Brackley in South Northamptonshire, was established in 1992.
The school has classes for adults in Ballet, Modern & Tap in Syresham, Farthinghoe and Brackley and in Pilates in Brackley, Towcester, Buckingham and Syresham.
The principal is Sylvie Essame, who started the school in the early 1990s. Sylvie is a dancer with many years professional experience on stage and television. She is an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and a qualified Pilates instructor.
Sylvie teaches most of the classes herself, but occasionally invites guest teachers and choreographers to take classes and create pieces for performance.
